Hostal La Palmera - Barcelona

Mini fridge and kettle made mornings easier.

The location is great!!! Just 1 min from La Rambla and Liceu station and next to La Boqueira where you can buy good food and drink. The room was nice and OK, breakfast is also very good, though it is "only" from 8.30. I would suggest this hotel to anyone! The staff is helpful, they have free wifi and 24 hour reception.

There is a reconstruction next to the hostal and it can be very noisy sometimes. But you do not travel to Barcelona to stay in your room. They start around 7.30-8.00 when you are awake and they already finished when you arrive back in the evening. So not really disturbing.

Got guest room with cute balcony and shower plus fresh towels as expected. Its location a 10-15 minute walk from Plaza Real was so excellent.

The location was perfect for exploring the city, just a block away from La Boqueria and only a short walk to Las Ramblas. I appreciated having a mini fridge and kettle in the twin room, which made it really convenient for snacks and morning coffee. The room was impeccably clean, and I enjoyed that it was surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area. It was a great base for my trip!

A block away from La Boqueria and La Rambla, friendly staff gave a good impersonation of English (they tried). I chose this place on location. Good for one night.

Middle of Barcelona means pricey for not much. Ceiling in the bathroom was leaking when I took a shower (they fixed it). Definitely budget accommodation- good for solo traveler who doesn't want to hang w lots of other travelers at a hostel.

It was clean & for a hostel it was well run. Friendly staff.

Nothing much except would have been hard to find if I didn't have a map. Needs a proper sign outside. There was a noisy party across the street as well until 3am.

The location: right in the heart of the city, but peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff is super friendly and does his best to make your stay enjoyable.

Although their breakfast offer (cereals, yogurt, fruits, juices, jam, butter, toast A.S.O.) is not poor by Spanish standards - their coffee is horrible! One time they did not make up the room.

The hostel is located near the market and construction causing noise from 6 am.

The location was amazing, just a short walk from La Boqueria. The shower pressure varied at times, inconvenient.

Excellent location in the city centre in walking distance to high streets and not more than 5 miles away from main tourist attractions. Hostal Staff very friendly and communicate in English if required. Overall if you're looking for a comfy bed and a shower after running around Barcelona all day, you will find all you need in Hostal la Palmera for reasonable price.

Just the fact that there was unpleasant smell from the toilet for a couple of nights. But it was easily fixed by sleeping with the balcony window opened (however this caused street noise disturbing our sleep a bit, but again, we were too tired to notice much).

The twin room was super spacious and clean, with a nice balcony to relax on. Loved the small fridge and kettle-perfect for making morning coffee. The shower had great pressure and the air conditioning worked really well, keeping the room nice and cool. Even with a busy location, it was surprisingly quiet at night. Just a short walk from La Boqueria, made getting breakfast easy!

Very good location, it is near the Bouqeteria also 3 min to walk to Liceu metro on the Ramblas street. Rooms are basic and clean. Staff is very heplful and breakfast is fine.

la gente era muy amable . el ambiente tranquilo , limpio , relacion precio-comodidades muy bien. desayuno correcto
